Working on a layout of a legally mandated treasurers' report, and got sent a PDF of a scan of printed documents. I'm running Windows and tried Acrobat and Google Docs; no love. I decided to go looking for Linux tools and found ocrmypdf and pdftotext. So one WSL2 session later and I have a nearly-ready text doc. Thanks, open source developers! You did what expensive subscription proprietary software couldn't.
