A special rapporteur, appointed to investigate allegations of Chinese political interference in Canada, is unveiling his report in Ottawa right now.

The investigation confirmed a concerted effort by Beijing to meddle in Canadian politics to advance its national interest.

But, it discredits leaks to the media that allege money went to specific political candidates and that there was a coordinated network of domestic agents working with Beijing.
