@Npars01 @GottaLaff I am interested in the idea of MAGA parents being so interested in the “protection of their children innocence”….. I wonder if they are more “control/authoritarian parents”than “protection parents”…. Power is a dangerous thing……????

In such an environment, controlling the flow of information to women and children is a critical function of maintaining patriarchal control.
Information asymmetry requires withholding data. It's used to keep power & control.
