dubbacubed@Kathryn934 I don’t remember which article I specifically followed when I moved from home.social to my new server but this one has some good directions. You’ll have to decide on a new server first.

* export your data (follows, lists, bookmarks, etc.; in addition export the complete archive, just in case)
* create new account on new server
* create alias on the new server that points to the old server
* go to old account and initiate the migration
