Final Cut Pro for the iPad Review: WOW!

I got early access to Final Cut for the iPad and have spent two weeks with it. While it's very much a version 1.0 and doesn’t have every feature I would like from the desktop version. What it does have is a strong base to grow from. I’m really excited for the future of this app and the iPad as a platform. It’s extremely exciting to see first party professional app come to the iPad.

Guess who’s back? Back again!
@ChrisLawley Great video. Nice to see something that pro on the iPad.
@ChrisLawley it does not open desktop project files (and it is a subscription).. Get Luma Fusion or Davinci resolve instead... That's much better choice by now..

@jirivatka I’ve used both of those and they definitely aren’t. LimaFusion is riddled with bugs and Resolve is just a desktop port that doesn’t work well on the iPad.

It’s $5 month or $50 a year that’s extremely fair pricing for a pro app.

@ChrisLawley resolve is Maybe a desktop port but it can open your desktop projects and works perfectly fine .. That should be the main priority for the pros who want to use iPad seriously.. So until FinalCut for iPad can open desktop projects it is a no go for pros..
@ChrisLawley incredibly thourough review, thanks for this Chris ✨
