Finally pinpointed it: it seems that any interaction with users/toots from Mastodon.social causes errors. I believe my server admin blocked this instance (spam issues), but it’s weird how their content still show up to me.

@brwolfgang Interesting. This has been driving me crazy for several days, but I’ve seen the same issue with other instances as well.

@heliomass Sometimes the error happens even when interacting with users from my own instance (like your toot above), I’m not that sure anymore =/

@brwolfgang Yeah, it’s a mess 😔 I get a 500 just posting something or even favouriting or boosting. Not sure what’s going on, but @TheAdmin hasn’t posted any updates. Wondering if it could be a DDoS? The instance seems barely usable right now.
