It seems weird to me, but I think that this is genuinely where we are these days: "hey, let's try HTML over HTTP[s]" is an intriguing possibility, not the default.
Wait, I'd kind of assumed that Mr. Winer's post was kind of an ironic shot at apps vs. old-fashioned web, rather than a legit proposal.
Am I confused?
