I was going over the lawsuit yesterday, and I seriously hope RG gets his ass nailed to the wall here & Noelle Dunphy gets the justice she deserves. Given the EJ Carroll verdict, it's very likely she will. I was going over the complaint yesterday, only skimming through it. And there was something I noticed & I wanna mention, but people can often take these things the wrong way& read something into what I'm saying I'm not. So it's really just a question and I feel certain RG's atty's are gonna bring this up anyway. My impression from the complaint is, she was having sex with him (oral I believe) for a pretty long time. Now Noelle was one very frightened woman, I get that. Plus the huge power dynamic, that I understand a lot more after the E.Jean trial. But let's just put this generally speaking. In a situation like that, with an employer, happening over a long period of time, with several sexual assaults, why did she keep having unwanted sex with him?

@PDFlynn She explained that in the document. And that, btw, is Rudy's argument too.

She was afraid she'd lose her job. She was coming off a terrifying abusive relationship that he exploited. She was traumatized by it. And he took full advantage. PLUS, he was helping her legally, it wasn't just the job. She was afraid to stop. She did, however, say NO more than once, per the complaint.

@GottaLaff Yeah, I definitely saw all that. The complaint often mentions how afraid she was. And it's not for me or anyone else to judge that at all. I think it was more of red flag, that the defense atty's are definitely gonna mention that at trial. But, a lot of similar defense arguments did not work at all in E. Jean's case. So, there's no reason to believe those should work here.
@PDFlynn I have no idea whether it would work or not, depends on the jury and the location of the trial. We'll find out.
