I got a cheap usb floppy drive! "Tendak" brand.

Testing real quick on my Raspbian Pi3.
Mounted and read msdos 1.44m and 720k format. Expected.

Read 1.44m Mac HFS! Nice.

Would not read Tandy 600 360k. Sad but expected.

I thought I had some minix or ext2 disks but I guess not?

Sometime when it's not bedtime i'll hook it up to the RISC OS Pi and see what it thinks.

Mostly just seeing if a Pi could handle a device that wants 500 mA!

As I'd already read, RISC OS doesn't like USB floppy drives.

The USB driver stack finds the device, recognizes it... and fails to present it to the SCSI system.

There's a replacement USB stack that should work, but I don't think it's really worth the trouble.

I don't have any Acorn disks around and even if I did these "pc compatible" - only devices can't handle the 2K sector size Acorn used. 🤗
