Canada sends recruiters to poach healthcare workers from the UK every time the Tories try to grind the NHS down.
Jennifer Deseo@opendna Could be tricky: some California municipalities have uber-high costs of living. Would make relocation difficult, even if salary is spicy.
@jdeseo True, but the California is so flush with taxes that it has started throwing money at teacher housing. Realizing that down-payment subsidies weren't enough, they've started building public housing for teachers.
It won't be long before Calif school districts include a close-to-work apartment in the compensation package.
