Mass General Hospital has removed their statement saying that patients cannot ASK practitioners to mask.
Major reversal.
Everyone should be asking for N95 masks to protect themselves and their loved ones. Standard of care does not allow for preventable infections in hospitals.
@yaneerbaryam@whn May I emphasise that spontaneous masking does not remove the aerosols that are already in the air. This is how I caught Covid at the dentist’s.
