😂 Any musicians out there ever used a tap pedal to human-clock their Alesis SR18? Is this doable or will it just freak out?

I'd normally just try it out but the Alesis is buried under a pile of gear at the moment. (In a case! Jeez, I'm not a philistine! 😂 )
