Yup, and HCMC will be drastically affected by #subsidence, "downward vertical movement of the Earth's surface, which can be caused by both natural processes and human activities". I hate to think what it will be like, even 5 years from now, with so many buildings constructed on wetlands and the city centre at only 5m elevation.
