"If America has always embraced fascist ideology without calling it fascist, why is it only going completely sideways now?"

Well, first, you only think it wasn't that bad before because you weren't an approved target of the nazi lifers that DID still exist, and secondly "entire planet is boiling and capitalism goes or we do; rich guys know you won't commit suicide so you mustn't have a choice."

Like, I dunno what else to say; folks keep asking me for a big picture snapshot that explains everything that's going wrong right now. That's it, right there.

The planet is boiling us off like a virus. The only way to make it stop is to end capitalism and throw our lot together to find a solution for the whole species. The rich capitalists we gave all the power to, don't like that, but are very aware you outnumber them.
