My beloved HTC 10 is coming up on 7 years. It's still working fine, but there are two other phones available that meet my needs and aren't very large (I don't like large phones). I'm worried there won't be a good phone the size I want available when I need it, so I'm preemptively considering getting a phone in the next couple of months. My choices are:

Google Pixel 7 or 7a
Asus ZenFone 9

Any thoughts?

Boosts are welcome.

@YLee I know I'm late but, you've picked one or are still confused?
@PhDee
Actually, yes. I bought a Zenfone 10.
@YLee Oh that's nice. Can't go wrong with either Zenfone or Pixel really.

@PhDee
The Zenfone won out for me because of size, battery life, and 3.5mm headphone jack. I also have two ASUS tablets that have been going for many, many years.

What do you use?

@YLee Yeah ASUS devices have been pretty good for me, though I think the QC could be a bit better.

All ASUS laptops I've encountered have small but annoying problems.

One of them is missing a screw on the battery from factory. One has a trackpad that very rarely doesn't register clicks. One has a temperamental GPU in gaming load (I've forgiven this cause it's not a gaming laptop).

But honestly, the overall experience has been great because they are durable and no major issues.
