Anderson Cooper: people who decided they're done with CNN after the recent debacle are choosing a Trump-free "silo"
No Anderson, Trump's lies, treason, and criminality have permeated every fucking corner of American life. Dropping CNN like a sack full of angry vipers will not end that in any way. It'll just give CNN what it deserves for participating in the damage.
This is starting to sound like Twitter. No, Anderson doesn't lie for a living. He's a dedicated and talented journalist who expressed a position that isn't popular.
What's sad to me is that we, as a nation, get this incensed over a difference of opinion.
He's a highly respected journalist who is reporting in a way that is inconvenient for your priors.
If you think his reporting a lie, that's proof of the fact his reporting offends your priors.
And actually, Cooper is an interesting and unique person in that he separated himself from his mother's name and inheritance and earned his own way. And his mother wasn't a journalist, so nepotism would not have come into play.
(I can already see this conversation headed for a block.)
I block inane people who can't seem to carry on a rational, intelligent conversation.
