I think Mastodon people should use the "like" button more.

Boost if you agree.

@MissingThePt Wishing it has the dislike button like Friendica does, because of that I never use it, no one will see it
@MissingThePt I wonder how Mastodon handles an incoming "dislike".
@Stefan_S_from_H @MissingThePt Probably ignores it. Just disliked your comment, so you can see for yourself.

@anubis2814 @MissingThePt Yes, I searched the source code for "dislike" and there's nothing.

ActivityPub is a strange beast. I'm not so sure if I like it.

@Stefan_S_from_H @MissingThePt Might want to try out friendica or calckey

@anubis2814 @MissingThePt No, thanks. Being "nerd right" is lonely.

I think Mastodon will continue to dominate and make the open protocol obsolete.

People are already annoyed by calckey specific posts on Mastodon.

I said it a few months ago: There is so much potential for drama on Mastodon. This is the technical aspect of drama.

@Stefan_S_from_H @MissingThePt The majority on Friendica are mostly anarchists, nerd right is majority on pluroma though maybe they are swamping calckey as well. I only know left leaning people on calckey. Its does way more using less memory than mastodon. also currently talking to you from friendica.

@anubis2814 @MissingThePt The English language has some major flaws.

I wasn't talking about politics. I was talking about making the right decisions.

My second computer was a Commodore Amiga, as was the third one. The better machine. Being right on the technical side doesn't mean being successful.

Yes, had a Linux desktop for a few years. Same kind of lonely existence.

@Stefan_S_from_H @MissingThePt Since Friendica and Calckey are connected to the fediverse there is really no difference, just different ways of interacting. I'm away of certain differences between mastodon and other platforms, but the interactions are completely the same if not better, cause things like threads actually make sense over here.

@MissingThePt

And I was just thinking of writing a post saying that people should use the "boost" button more, and asking my loyal readers to hit the "like" button if they agree.

@MissingThePt
I use the "like" button usually to signify that I have read a toot.
