No shame to the moderators, the decision is a hard one and I'd have folded way sooner, but... my current Mastodon instance will be shutting down, it seems.

I can migrate, but I lose my existing posts/photos/etc. I can't keep my identity or my content, but I guess I can keep (some of) my follow list?

Mastodon is not a serious platform.

@seanmiddleditch I think it’s remarkable that mastodon has managed to scale as well as if has with the absolute avalanche of us who moved here when Twitter veered Nazi. I have high hope for this platform, but time is needed! They are already adding and optimising features and processes to make it far smoother and better.
