@HamonWry history has (supposedly) a starting point that could be quantified, (13.5b years give or take) the future is endless (maybe)

But even if the future is not endless, we can assume we have not begun the “big squeeze” which may or may not take the same amount of time as expansion, so I’d say the future is longer.

@HamonWry sometime around the spring of 1970 I was summoned to the principals office. Each tick of the wall clock was deafening. A dust mote drifted lazily by, caught in a slant of photons. In between ticks a lifetime has passed….
