This morning I went to Google News.

🟢 Found a story from CNN.

🟢 Tapped on the three dots beside the story.

🟢 Tapped on “Hide all stories from CNN.”

Easy!

Now I’m recommending you do the same on whatever news platform you use. Let there be consequences for giving a platform to a wannabe dictator.

@bodhipaksa If he’s the candidate they have to. But they can do it in responsible ways. By using tape delay & fact checking his lies in real time. Or by having a discussion with him ahead of time & saying, we won’t air lies. If you repeat them, we will simply edit them out & explain to the viewing public why each lie is a lie, at the end of the program. That way, he can’t say, he was censored. All his lies will be presented, just not in his voice, or his flamboyant manner #tRump

@Pineywoozle CNN didn't have to give Trump this platform. It was their choice. Chris Licht, the CNN's head, did it for the ratings.

It was intentionally set up to benefit Trump. It was set up to energize his base, giving them an opportunity to see him lying shamelessly and showing contempt for a woman interviewer (and E. Jean Carroll) — things they lap up.

Only people sympathetic to Trump were allowed in the audience. They were given instructions only to applaud, and told never to boo.

@bodhipaksa I was very obviously speaking about how it needs to be handled in the future. Of course what #CNN did & how they did it was a vile choice but going forward he will have to be covered & given equal opportunity to buy air time. CNN should be blocked, but we can’t block all the MSM. Read the FCC rules, he is going to be on TV. What’s important now is how. https://www.huffpost.com/entry/stephanie-ruhle-it-is-not-news-donald-trump-town-hall-cnn_n_645cbaa0e4b018d846bbf004
Stephanie Ruhle Of MSNBC Gives Awesome Non-Rebuttal To Donald Trump's Town Hall Lies

The "11th Hour" host offered a refreshing response to "what happened tonight at 8 p.m. on another network."

HuffPost

@Pineywoozle I have to say it wasn't very obvious to me that you were talking about the future.

Also: " Read the FCC rules, he is going to be on TV."

I didn't make an argument that Trump shouldn't be on TV. I was saying that this event was set up by CNN to be Trump propaganda, and that I'm blocking CNN as a result. And I'm encouraging others to do the same.

Now please stop trolling.

@bodhipaksa “If” and “they can” together seemed pretty obviously in the future to me along with specific remedies going forward for how differently it needs to be handled. Sorry if you felt it was unclear. I totally agree CNN is garbage for so many reasons. We have to figure out collectively now, how we can best avoid giving tRump an effective platform for his lies etc while still following FCC guidelines. It’s not going to be easy.

@Pineywoozle I was talking about a specific event that CNN set up in collusion with Trump. Your reply was "If he’s the candidate they have to." I can only read that as a reference to what I just said, which was something in the past.

Obviously some of what you said was about the future, but that part obviously wasn't.

You're also talking at cross purposes in saying "Read the FCC rules, he is going to be on TV" since that has no relevance to anything I said.

@bodhipaksa I didn’t realize you limited a response to only the specific event you posted about. I was going forward logically since I agreed with blocking them but realized that we can’t block everyone who has him on since they will be required to by FCC rules. I think we were originally just talking at cross purposes but I will refrain from responding to your posts in the future so as not to offend.

@Pineywoozle You really need to stop trolling. Of course I don't limit responses in that way, and I haven't taken offense.

I'm simply communicating that your response was unclear, because you started talking about a new topic without acknowledging that you were doing that, and (judging by your "read the FCC rules" comment) realizing you were doing so.

@bodhipaksa Just gonna block and move on. You won’t miss my comments.
