For context, I was seeking records about the use of mind altering drugs on detainees at Guantanamo and elsewhere

What's infuriating is that a decade ago I pried loose a DOD IG report via #FOIA that showed DIA was involved in discussions around the use of mind altering drugs on detainees

@JasonLeopold feels like they could have interpreted mind altering drugs differently than you would. Did you specify a list?
@DeelightFull2022 yep! I gave them a very lengthy list.
@JasonLeopold makes me wonder if the record retention period is 10 years, and the point of the backlog is to not respond until the documents have been legally destroyed and they can truthfully say there are no responsive documents.
