Jo (she/they)@ariadne I don't like it, it's quite overwhelming in fact, but it's able to be deactivated quite simply and further granular controls are in the works. I can happily co-exist given that I have the tools to craft my own experience. @[email protected] @[email protected]
small patatas@jo @ariadne @ada @[email protected] same yeah. Via a combination of settings, theme tweaking, and custom CSS, I've just about dialed in an experience that works well for me, which I am calling "curmudgeon mode"
@ariadne yea the whole misskey thing is unusable to me
mybarkingdogs@ariadne I do find the more visual focus REALLY annoying. Like I'd be okay with it if the graphical effects had alt text or a "removal" option but as it is, it feels like it's anti-accessible.
Worse, it almost tempted me because I *do* like more visual posting (emojis, gifs, text tricks etc) BUT that's a privileged thing, at least until/if there's automatic rendering of the content in alt text
