This profile for a new social media thing, Captis, followed me on birdsite and it looks catered to gamers/streamers/content creators specifically. while, the idea is neat, I can’t help but get bad vibes from this.
being queer and a furry, I feel like I would just be a target if I ever tried to grow my stream channel’s audience there.

Typically the Capital G "Gamers" are the types you don't want to be around because they will target women and our fellow queers and other minorities.
@itsOasus yeah, basically my thoughts as well.
Just really weird that they would follow me as if it’s gonna get me to join, either they just want attention so people sign up or they don’t care that I would probably be harassed off the platform.
