Exploring #Antennas on #Calckey
Does anyone know how to put the keywords correct that Antennas work? Do I have to add a hashtag or not? Put them in a line or one below the other?
Thanks in advance! @Catonauts If you want to find Cats or CatsOfCalckey then you are good, they should be on separate lines. I donβt think you need the hashtag as it will still find the word, but no harm in adding Cats and also CatsOfCalkey as well as the hashtag terms you have. @Dan Thank you!
I have set up several antennas, letΒ΄s see how it works out π
@Catonauts @Dan I could be wrong, but I think using the hashtag adds value in some scenarios. When you want to reduce ambiguity.
For example, I have an antenna set up to pull in posts about a game called 'Vintage Story'. I put 'Vintage Story' in my antenna. This works, but also pulls in any post containing the words 'vintage' and 'story' in any order - so it is a bit ambiguous.
Whereas a filter for the hashtag of the game should be more precise.
I think in your example - using the hashtag, you might only see it pull in posts explicitly tagged as such - but without the hashtag, any post where somebody writes about cats. I think?
Not an expert though so be interested if anyone has more knowledge! @picard
Thank you, I think I will check that out and add keywords with and without hashtags. In theory, "cat" without a hashtag could well pull in any word with that 3 letters ... catalogue, catcher, cathedral π€
@Dan @Catonauts @Dan Let us know if you find out anything useful! We're all learning together! π
@picard @Dan You were right Matthew! I just see that "Cat" without hashtag pulls posts with anything "cat" in a word
I see posts with "locate, catholic, application, indication ... jeez, there are many words with "cat" in it LOL @Catonauts @Dan That's really interesting! Thanks for checking this out and confirming - I can imagine it would get very busy with such a short word as 'cat' πΊ
