Since July 2019, ACL has had a dedicated Publicity Director, who coordinates the publicity activities of the ACL's executive committee as well as *ACL's associated conferences and workshops. These conferences include: ACL, NAACL, EACL, EMNLP, and AACL. (1/6) 🧵 #NLProc

Dedicated accounts across different social media platforms were then created that unified all the random year-based accounts which would take time to collect followers but then were abandoned after one year. With the help of the past publicity chairs and ACL officers, we also compiled a publicity handbook. Access to these will be provided to the publicity chairs of each year. Please get in touch with the ACL's publicity director if you recently accepted a publicity chair role. (2/6)

Another aspect that is unified is the use of hashtags, which helps finding the relevant information more easily. For example, for the ACL's main conference, we recommend #ACL<YEAR>NLP combined with #NLProc. These hashtags are added to the official accounts descriptions. (4/6) #NLProc
