@gbhnews Based on many years of experience with FB before leaving it entirely, I hesitate to assign any particular "motive" to their blocking of anything.

It may as well be the result of a random event/act of god/bad hair day at the office.

I was active on FB from 2008 to about 2012. Then I quit, but periodically (once every few months) visited to see if old childhood friends were looking to reconnect.

Then less frequently.

Then one time in 2017 or 2018, when I logged in, I found that I had been suspended for 30 days for a comment I made in 2011. The suspension had transpired in my absence, and the offending comment had been removed.

I really wanted to know what I had said!
