Hey Nahga,

I'm trying to migrate from calckey.social but when I try to create an alias for @ashwin I get a "Checkbox" alert, but no alias is created.

When I try to move, here's the message I get:

"Remote account doesn't have proper 'Known As' alias. Did you remember to set it?"

Would appreciate your help. Thanks!

I do not think that is set by me. And if I drill into your account I see that the
alsoKnownAs:
1: "https://calckey.social/users/XXXXXXXX"
if set correctly. If I visit the url, obviously I'm edited it here, I get your account on calckey.social

Ok, let me restate the issue:

When I try to create a migration alias for @ashwin on evil.social, no alias gets created.

On other instances, when you create a migration alias, the newly created alias is immediately visible on the same page.

I see. I have to admit that I am not very familiar with the background processes that happen when you go to migrate an account from one server to another. I wonder why this does not do what is expected. We are running a very similar build version as calckey.social. I'd like to get this working for you. Perhaps I need advice from someone who knows the software more intimately that myself.
