Help needed: are there any graphic designers who could help create matching #FDroid category images for missing categories? My "quick hack" doesn't really fit: https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/-/merge_requests/13059

@donno Thanks a lot! Just answered your comment there. We're having our weekly meeting tomorrow again, I hope I can attend and introduce your examples. Will also ask whether transparency is important etc, and then let you know. As the pieces of the set need to match in design, it will need to be either a full new set – or your additions would need to match what's already present then. Will also ask the team for their preferences on that.

@IzzyOnDroid ich glaub ich bin da zu wenig bewandert in der Nutzung von Gitrepos. Ich hab leider nicht mal verstaden, für welche Anwendung die Icons konkret gedacht sind. Für die Fdroid App (an welcher Postition)? Für die Website, für Dein Repo (Website?)?
Und vor allem was sollen die Icons illustrieren/repräsentieren? Welches Format? SVG? Unterschiedliche Png-Größen…?
Wo finde ich die zu ersetztenden Grafiken (die mit denen Du unzufrieden bist)?

@wolf Das sind Hintergrundbilder für die "Kategorie" Ansicht in der F-Droid app. Format lässt sich "konvertieren" – derzeit sind es PNGs, ich denke SVGs wären auch nicht verkehrt (könnten ja als PNGs exportiert werden wenn nötig). Größe ist AFAIK fixed (720x350 px derzeit), das Seitenverhältnis wird wohl in der App so benötigt.

Die Grafiken fehlen derzeit komplett in F-Droid. Vorhandene findest Du unter https://gitlab.com/fdroid/fdroiddata/-/tree/master/config (category_*.png, einfach draufklicken zum Anzeigen).

@wolf Steht im verlinkten Issue (siehe auch die Bilderdort). Bei F-Droid selbst fehlen 4, plus 6 weitere für die zusätzlichen Kategorien in meinem Repo. Meine "Quick-Hack-Füller sind nicht so pralle 🙈

Habe gesehen, dass sich schon jemand kümmert. Ich halt mich dann erst mal raus. Melde Dich, wenn Du meine Hilfe doch noch brauchen solltest.
PS: der Transparente HG scheint mir in sofern sinnvoll, damit die HG-farben in Fdroid in der aktuellen Weise flexibel angepasst werden können.
