The thing is, I know what's going on, here. Sure, some people want to keep their windows shut for allergy reasons, but it got pretty hot a few days ago so people switched their thermostats to cooling mode and simply stopped thinking about the weather.
It got to about 73° in here from insolation before I opened up windows, so some ACs would definitely be kicking on by now if people did the ol' set and forget
Wouter 🛰️@TechConnectify European here. Could you clarify for me wether you folks normally change the thermostat when you go to bed and get up? Like, do you interact with the system every day?
I don't know what a "normal" American routine looks like, but I flip on the thermostat after I come home from work and then off when I go sleep.
I recently switched to heat pump AC heating/cooling, so this is very new to me coming from a hot water radiator and no cooling at all.
