@nerdybutcute @JillianMHurley
I'm all for alt texting so I put in the work, but I understand if people don't want to or don't know how.
That said, I'm not sure if your attitude here will win new people to your side. You're basically telling people, rudely, to do more work that they may not personally see the benefit in doing.
@RnDanger @JillianMHurley oh, gee, telling someone that doing the right thing might require the slightest bit of effort? HOW WILL I LIVE WITH MYSELF
wait. no. what i meant to say was - go fuck yourself, you callow dipshit
now THAT was rude. see the difference?
@nerdybutcute
yes, we are different and now you will be quiet for me.
Best of luck out there. I hope you find whatever you're looking for that leaves you so disagreeable.
@DeborahForPlus @RnDanger well, @nerdybutcute is kinda right at the core.
Also if people can invest the time to turn text into images then they shure as hell can take the time to copy & paste text or type those sentences out...

That’s fine. I’ll try harder to put up Alt text. I usually do.
In fact, I am visually impaired.
But no manners, no further communication. Have a lovely day policing people’s timelines.
I don’t want rude advocacy. It’s less than helpful.
@JillianMHurley @nerdybutcute your decision.
I do think that we should at the very least link to the text source.
I personally use the
on mobile and even tho my visual impairment doesn't get me any legal recognition by the government, it's also very annoying to try and load images on #EDGEland mobile networks...
