Christopher Phin@dmoren (This is a post expressing solidarity with your bafflement, not a ‘we’re better than you,’ but:) that’s Scotland. Dunblane happened, and that was the inflection point. Not saying we haven’t had trouble with guns since, but yes; the rational response is “fuck no”.
@chrisphin You would have thought we had one at least twenty years ago, but it turns out building our country on a document that includes the right to bear arms was a colossal mistake.
