Stop the mentality of “it’s ok because someone has it worse”

I've always hated when I complain about some problem and somebody says "could be worse" or "count your blessings".

The fact that it "could be worse" is fundamentally as meaningless as "it could be better", continuums rock that way.

If my hand hurts it doesn't hurt less if I consider adding the pain of my foot being stepped on. Normalizing suffering isn't productive.

The ‘count your blessings’ game offered up by those whose lives are comfortable & find your discomfort ‘annoying’

Also, "it's okay because your condition is treatable with thots 'n prayers."
