Okay, its more complicated than that, but like, I do think that Yoon Chi Woo legitimately likes Meo Roo as a person, and thinks he’s adorable— except for the part where his ex fiancé (Yeon Seo) seems to like him, and he keeps mouthing off to him, usually in defense of Yeon Seo.
And there’s room to explore what happens when that resentment and jealousy fades into the background, as Chi Woo realizes hurting Meo Roo hurts Yeon Seo bc of her (human) mother’s death.
