Substack email newsletters are the “default” nowadays but it’s always a pleasure to get newsletters that use Buttondown instead. For one, Substack emails are over-formatted, don’t work in dark mode, and are constantly nagging to get you to download & read on their app instead, and it’ll only get worse.
