how much does a glass kiln cost? is it bigger than a breadbox? i have fam interested in pottery-ing, and it would be so great to have a kiln in the back yard, but i presumed very spendy.
also: kiln is such a nice cottage-core-sounding word.

@Lachesis mine has an 8x8x4 inch working area, the whole thing is a little bigger than a microwave oven, but you have to keep it far away from things because it gets very hot. it was about $1300. you can't keep them outside.
