It took me only eleventy million hours of learning, but I *think* I can now comfortably and reliably modify, add, combine and tweak textures on things in Blender, without getting lost every single time.

Blender being Blender, it's a combination of "extremely difficult and counterintuitive and nothing is where you'd expect it to be" and "once you know how to do something, it's both a very powerful tool and rather quick to use".

But boy, was this a journey and a half.

@oddtail what helped you get over that hump? I've been working on character designs, and I'm starting to think I just need to focus on very specific task-oriented workflows and ignore the rest. There's so much and so many weirdly specific keyboard shortcuts and UIs within UIs
