@derickr @ramsey IIRC Jeri Ryan’s husband cheated on her and resigned his Congressional seat. Obama ran for that seat and won.

@grmpyprogrammer @derickr It’s weirder that that. When they divorced they had their court records sealed. When he ran for office, others were trying to get the records unsealed. They both fought to keep the child custody records sealed, but they allowed the other records to be unsealed.

They lost that fight, and it came out in the custody records that she had accused him of asking her to perform public sex acts at various S&M clubs.
