Looks like you've got an F series rod - nice ๐Ÿคฉ
I have been thinking about that series for several years - 724-4 or 723-5 ๐Ÿค”

Thank you so much!
I chose 724.
In your country, you can catch large trout even in small mountain streams, so I think 724 is good.
Even a medium-sized Iwana trout of Japan's small mountain stream is difficult to pull out with 723 if you dive into a waterfall jar with a large torque.

I'm sure Eishi-san know.
In Japan's narrow small streams, where trees are covered around them, flies are often caught in tree branches by backcasts, and short rods are often convenient for us.
It's not often a single backcast, just like Tenkara, only one cast without backcast a majority.

@cmos

I feel that regular fly rods are more convenient for fishing small streams with overhanging trees.
For tenkara, I prefer streams with more open space. Without a reel, landing fish becomes more a problem than casting when there is no space to raise the rod. I often end up collapsing the rod while landing fish, which is very inefficient and cumbersome.
For small mountain streams, my current favorite is Sage VXP 3wt 7โ€™9โ€ ๐Ÿ˜Š
