In Cuba, they eliminated class hierarchy and the result has left nearly every citizen in poverty. Hunger is still a problem for them. The Chinese were smart and realized a market based economy coupled with allowing people to accumulate weath is the best way to eliminate poverty. The result is that over the past 30 years, they have brought hundreds of millions of people out of poverty. So, I'd say don't be so eager to destroy wealth.

We do this to a degree through tax policy, but wealth redistribution is a Socialist construct. And I hope my Scottish cousins aren't headed down that path.
