@MikeMorris My dad bought a 2nd hand book about the history of London. At a PT school evening, he mentioned the book to my form teacher, eventually lending it. My teacher visited his parents for a long wkend (about 200 miles) bringing the book. His mum saw it, said that as a child it was like a copy she would read at a neighbours house, which had their name in. The house contents were sold when the neighbour died. Looking at the book, it was the same one from 50+ years before.
