I hate when students cheat or plagiarize. Mostly because it means a ton of administrative work on my end plus at least one incredibly awkward conversation with the student.

I want to help you learn! I don’t want to give you arbitrary punishments decreed by the university. Please help me not have to do that :(

@tiffanycli In practice, how strict is the school about plagiarism? I've gotten the sense from a lot of faculty that schools are more-lenient-than-you'd-expect about it.
