We use redundancy in communication regularly to ensure we are understood. We need this in collaborative models too - here's a draft idea on achieving that - note how size should also be used but here I have demonstrated cuts. You can do 10 stickies at a time with this technique. Bespoke hole punches/cards feels like something to explore - label beats legend! 😁 What else could we consider #eventstorming #accessibility #colorblindness #softwaredesign #ddd #dddesign #comocamp
To make this happen we do need to try harder - move accessibility from an afterthought and move it into the product/preparation
No cut alternative - thanks @tekiegirl
@Steve_Read I like your thinking. Have you considered working with traditional flowchart shapes? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flowchart

@DianaThompson interesting! Perhaps it may lead to confusion if drawing too close a relationship? My emphasis had been on trying to keep the modifications lightweight/quick. A no prep solution is definitely better but the pallet of shapes is governed by what people can buy. I think @tekiegirl and I will be looking at publishing some pack combinations which work together for #eventstorming, but we would need feedback on how they go in practice!
@Steve_Read Yes, I think that confusion could happen. Sticky notes would need more flexible usage, to my mind, than a standardized flow chart. That said, I can see a decision shape, for example, being helpful. That could be used by turning a standard square note 45 degrees, as in your original image. I was thinking, too, about purpose-built, die-cut notes. I would love to see what you two create.
