@mollywoodpro it’s still a problem how to monetize this work. Like, how can Journalism industry structure it so that if a story is broken by small town or niche paper, then gets picked up by WSJ or NYT, some compensation goes to who did the initial legwork or made the discovery. The ROI on this work is currently not great for most outlets, but it doesn’t have to be that way with a reasonable profit sharing model.
