@patrickworld
I'm looking forward to 7 August, myself

@McKennas @patrickworld Also September 8th, or 9 August, for tunes like Blue Rondo Γ  la Turk - or any slip jig, like "The Butterfly"!

@McKennas @patrickworld

In the States we have to do everything differently, like celebrating that day on July 8th. :)

@patrickworld Does it have to be David Brubeck specifically? Why not any Progressive Rock band, or even Grunge bands like Alice in Chains or Soundgarden?

@IronCurtain @patrickworld β€˜Cause Brubeck recorded Take Five in 5/4 time signature. Not sure Alice In Chains ever did that. (not being snarky, just saying)

Take 5 written by Paul Desmond btw.

@digginjazz @patrickworld I know. That wasn't my point, though. It's just that Alice In Chains made songs in irregular time signatures (such as "Them Bones").
