I couldn’t believe it when they started making touchscreen dashboard controls, even with drop-down menus. I’m driving! Give me a knob I can use without looking, never mind reading, scrolling, selecting…

Or when Google maps says, "I've found a much better route, please find and press one of the two ambiguously-labled tiny buttons that will only show near the bottom of your screen for three seconds…"

Or my favourite, "OK Google, cancel navigation," which now responds, "Sorry Dave. Please open an app to do that."

@teledyn main reason apart from Mr Musk that I’d never want a Tesla! My car has a ridiculous iPad sized touchscreen too, but at least all the key driving functions exist on buttons and stalks!
