When you vote, politely say you wish to officially report you are unhappy with the PhotoID requirement.

Polling officers are obligated to record your discontent.

NB You can return back to your polling station and do this should you have voted already.

@nickmdowson A source is the handbook usefully supplied by the electoral commission to its officers wherein it says in its faqs "if you are unhappy about any aspect of voting in the polling station, you can raise your concerns with the returning officer"
