Hospitals are no longer required to report hospital-acquired COVID to CDC, as the US goes into full #COVID denial.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) earlier this week announced it will streamline hospital COVID-19 reporting requirements shortly after the May 11 conclusion of the COVID-19 public health emergency (PHE).
@luckytran I would be interested to know what percentage of Americans in the US died of #Covid19 versus the percentage of American expats living outside the US who died of #Covid19.
My suspicion is that a far greater percentage of Americans in the US died than expats because of our piss-poor disease-control policies.
I know of one American expat anywhere who died- pre-vaccines. He was elderly & ill. I know thousands of Americans in the US who died.
I doubt we will ever know for sure.
