Didn't like it the first time, still dont like it.

its ugly, all the colors are muted, the architecture is meh

Soundtrack is cheesy mideast theme, has the effect of feeling monotonous, lacks the otherworldly atmosphere the lynch film has.

Its boring, which would be forgivable if there was an excess of exposition but there's a lack of word building, dialogue is terse and solumn, cut the hamfisted "tension" building filler and you could easily reduce runtime by a 3rd.
