Sid 🇵🇸imo, at least one reason the owner class loves AI is bc they would be thrilled to have an inscrutable black box they could point to and say you don't have a job anymore bc of something the box did

Tom Magnanimous@InternetEh amazon has already done algorithmic firings with no human discretion involved. Don't know if they're still doing it, this was several years ago, but I'd be surprised if they improved something
