Once more, Ron DeSantis has signed an abominable bill into law, and I'm SO angry. This bill bars Florida state officials from investing public money to promote environmental, social or governance goals and prohibits ESG bond sales. (As if Florida doesn't have serious climate issues.) "We don't want them engaged on these ideological joyrides," says this ego-driven ideologue, whose only goals appear to be cruelty and vengeance.
